【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardconsidersrequirementsfortheprotectionofthewholebodyincludinghead,handsandfeet.ClothingforheadandfeetaccordingtothisEuropeanStandard,however,mayonlyprovidesufficientprotectionwhenworntogetherwithsuchbasicPPEspecifiedintherelevantstandardsasnotedinparagraphs4.2and44ofthisEuropeanStandard.ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestestmethodsandminimumperformancerequirementsforreflectiveprotectiveclothingusedinspecialisedfire-fighting.Thisclothingprovidesprotectionagainstflamelickandintenseradiantheatandiswornforshortperiodsonly,toenablethefire-fightertoenterspecifichigh-riskfire-fightingandfirerescuesituationswhichalsorequiretheuseofbreathingapparatus.ThisEuropeanStandardonlycoversprotectiveclothingthatreliesupontheabilityoftheoutermaterialtoreflectintenseradiantheat.Thistypeofreflectiveclothingmayalsobeusedforindustrialapplicationsinvolvinghighlevelsofradiantheat.ThereflectiveclothingspecifiedinthisEuropeanStandardisnotcoveredinEN469.
